Adult Immunization Project

WV Adult Immunization Project

The WV Adult Immunization Project has been developed to address the problem associated with low vaccination rates among adults throughout West Virginia. This project is a multifaceted intervention that utilizes educational strategies combined with best practices to improve and sustain adult immunization rates in West Virginia.

The WV Adult Immunization Project targets West Virginia’s adults, 19 years of age and older, and strives to increase the rate of age-appropriate immunizations as recommended by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP). For more information about the WV Adult Immunization Project, please contact the WIN Program Manager at wininfo@wvruralhealth.org
